Every night we publish key levels for the next trading day. Here is how Friday’s list played out, including the setups that didn’t work. All prices are regular-session data from Webull unless noted.
It was a rough backdrop. Intel had its worst day on record after its weak outlook, chip stocks sold off hard, and QQQ fell 3.5% to $690.49. SPY lost 1.8% to $755.72 and the IWM dropped 1.6% to $279.33.

ACCO Brands (ACCO) – The cleanest setup on a red day
We had $4.75 (52-week high) as first resistance and $5.00 as the next level. ACCO crossed $4.75 in pre-market and opened at $4.97, right under $5.00. It broke $5.00 in the first minutes and reached $5.46 in the first 15 minutes.
The pullback that followed bottomed at $5.005 late in the morning, holding $5.00 almost to the cent. From there ACCO climbed all afternoon and closed at its high of $5.50, up 26%, a new 52-week high. It was the slowest mover on the list, and the only one that worked.

Workhorse Group (WKHS) – Support held, the gap didn’t
Workhorse was near $3.09 after hours on Thursday, but it peaked at $3.22 in early pre-market and never tested our $3.27 resistance. It opened at $2.94, below our $3.00 support, and dipped to exactly $2.75, our second support, in the first 15 minutes. That level held and the stock bounced to $3.10, but it could not stay above $3.00 and spent the afternoon between $2.85 and $2.98. It closed at $2.95, up 16% from Thursday, then slipped to about $2.69 after hours. We scored it neutral.
Pulmonx (LUNG) – Rejected right at resistance
Pulmonx spiked to $3.23 at the open, two cents under our $3.25 resistance, and reversed. It broke our $2.98 support within 15 minutes, bounced back to $3.21 in the late morning, then faded to $2.79 in the afternoon, just above our $2.77 second support. It closed at $3.01, down 5%. The levels worked as a range, but there was no breakout.
NRx Pharmaceuticals (NRXP) – The gap disappeared before the open
We said holding $3.06 in pre-market would keep the gap intact. It did not: NRx lost $3.06 by 7 a.m. ET, opened at $2.83 and broke our $2.77 second support right away. It fell to $2.11 and closed at $2.27, down 15%, giving back its whole after-hours gain and more.
Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) – Crypto weakness won
PURR opened at $11.53, well below our $12.33 resistance and Thursday’s $12.29 close. It broke our $11.02 support in the first half hour and $10.77 by midday, bottoming at $10.59. It closed at $11.01, down 10%.
Takeaways
One hit, two neutral and two misses on a day when QQQ fell 3.5%. The one winner had fresh earnings and a raised outlook and broke resistance right at the open. The two low-priced after-hours gappers, Workhorse and NRx, gave back most of their Thursday-night gains before the bell, a reminder that thin after-hours moves often fade by morning.
Our next Stocks to Watch list, for Monday, Nov. 2, will be published on Sunday.
