Stocks to Watch Monday, Nov. 2: Inovio, FMC, New Fortress Energy, ChowChow Cloud, ClearOne

By Tech & Money Press · Pre-market watchlist for Monday, November 2, 2026

Market Setup

Tech sold off hard again on Friday. SPY fell 1.8% to $755.72 and QQQ dropped 3.5% to $690.49, its worst day of the week, as Intel slid about 30% after its weak fourth-quarter outlook and Amazon stayed under pressure after its revenue miss. Small caps did not escape this time: the IWM lost 1.6% to $279.33. After hours, SPY was near $757.12 and QQQ near $692.69, a small bounce into the weekend.

Monday opens a new month with the Nasdaq on a three-day slide, so the list again focuses on stocks with their own catalysts: an FDA approval for Inovio, a post-earnings rebound in FMC, a turbine lease deal for New Fortress Energy, a reverse-split runner in ChowChow Cloud and an after-hours bounce in ClearOne. Here are the levels we are watching.

1. Inovio Pharmaceuticals (INO) – FDA approval sends it up 240% after hours

Close: $0.60 (−22.0%) · Day range: $0.60–$0.86 · Volume: about 80.5M (roughly 20x its recent average) · After hours: ~$2.05 (+240%), range $0.59–$2.71, about 33M shares

After Friday’s close, the FDA approved INO-3107, Inovio’s DNA-based immunotherapy for adults with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), a rare disease caused by HPV types 6 and 11 that causes growths in the airway to keep coming back. Reports describe it as the first plasmid DNA-based immunotherapy the agency has approved. The decision landed on the Oct. 30 PDUFA target date, after the stock had slid 22% during the regular session. Inovio has about 103 million shares outstanding and was worth roughly $62 million at Friday’s close.

Our Take: This is the strongest catalyst on the list, but the stock already more than tripled after hours and faded from $2.71 to about $2.05. $2.71 (after-hours high) is the first resistance, then $3.00 (round number). On the downside, $2.00 (round number) is the first support, then $1.50 (round number). Small biotechs often raise cash after an approval, so watch for an offering headline in pre-market.

2. FMC Corp. (FMC) – Rebounds 30% after its third-quarter report

Close: $6.20 (+30.5%) · Day range: $5.16–$6.24 · Volume: about 17.7M (roughly double its recent average) · After hours: ~$6.17 (−0.5%), range $6.00–$6.24

FMC, the crop-protection chemicals maker, crashed about 31% on Oct. 15 after warning about its third quarter. The Oct. 29 report confirmed $672 million in charges tied to cutting prices and changing how it sells in the U.S., and the company lowered its fourth-quarter earnings guidance to $0.56–$0.70 per share. What the market focused on was the longer view: FMC expects adjusted EBITDA of $650–$730 million in 2027 and $760–$840 million in 2028. The stock closed near the high of the day, with a market value near $964 million.

Our Take: This is the most liquid name on the list and it held its gains after hours. $6.24 (Friday’s high) is the first resistance, then $8.03 (Oct. 14 low, where the Oct. 15 gap down started). On the downside, $5.70 (Oct. 15 high) is the first support, then $5.16 (Friday’s low). Analyst targets still range from $4 to $12, so expect a debate on any pullback.

3. New Fortress Energy (NFE) – Turbine lease deal lifts it 30%

Close: $4.92 (+29.8%) · Day range: $3.70–$4.97 · Volume: about 2.6M (more than 10x its recent average) · After hours: ~$5.05 (+2.6%), range $4.86–$5.98

New Fortress Energy agreed to a five-year lease of 10 mobile turbines with up to 300 megawatts of capacity to an unnamed U.S. company. The company said it expects the lease to add to earnings and improve its liquidity, which matters for a business carrying heavy debt and negative book value. The stock has about 13 million shares outstanding and a market value near $80 million.

Our Take: NFE spiked to $5.98 after hours before settling near $5.05. $5.98 (after-hours high) is the first resistance, then $6.09 (Oct. 6 high). On the downside, $4.86 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $4.31 (Oct. 15 high). Holding above Friday’s $4.97 high in pre-market would keep the breakout intact.

4. ChowChow Cloud International (CHOW) – More than doubles after its reverse split

Close: $4.40 (+106.6%) · Day range: $1.96–$7.38 · Volume: about 69M (many times its share count) · After hours: ~$3.75 (−14.8%), range $3.75–$4.90

ChowChow Cloud, a Hong Kong-based cloud solutions company, completed a 1-for-10 reverse split last week. It also said it received the full $500,000 from a private placement that, after the split, works out to 86,207 shares at $5.80 each, with closing expected in the week that ended Oct. 30. We did not find a new announcement behind Friday’s move. The company has about 3.5 million shares and a market value near $16 million.

Our Take: CHOW ran from under $2 to $7.38 in one session, closed at $4.40 and gave back 15% after hours, so this is the riskiest name on the list. $4.90 (after-hours high) is the first resistance, then $5.80 (placement price). On the downside, $3.75 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $3.50 (Oct. 22 high). Expect wide spreads and fast moves both ways.

5. ClearOne (CLRO) – Bounces 35% after hours following a 32% drop

Close: $3.41 (−31.8%) · Day range: $3.30–$5.00 · Volume: about 3.6M · After hours: ~$4.60 (+34.9%), range $3.30–$6.20, about 1.7M shares

ClearOne has been one of the most volatile small caps of the past two weeks. It ran from $1.72 on Oct. 19 to a high of $6.23 on Oct. 27, slid the rest of the week and lost 32% on Friday alone. Then it jumped after hours, touching $6.20, without a new announcement we could find. The share count is tiny, with a market value near $9 million.

Our Take: This is a pure momentum trade with no fresh news. $5.00 (Friday’s high) is the first resistance, then $6.20 (after-hours high). On the downside, $4.00 (round number) is the first support, then $3.30 (Friday’s low). If it loses $4.00 in pre-market, the after-hours bounce is likely fading.

Bottom Line

Monday’s list leans on fresh company news while big tech weighs on the Nasdaq. Inovio has the biggest catalyst, FMC is the liquid earnings rebound, New Fortress Energy is the deal-driven breakout, and ChowChow Cloud and ClearOne are the high-risk momentum names. As always, the stocks that hold their first support in pre-market are the ones to focus on.
