Stocks to Watch Thursday, Oct. 29: Bausch Health, Stellantis, Teladoc, DMC Global, Prime Medicine

By Tech & Money Press · Pre-market watchlist for Thursday, October 29, 2026

Market Setup

The Federal Reserve held its key rate in the 3.75%–4.00% range on Wednesday, as expected, and said inflation remains elevated. Stocks finished modestly higher: SPY closed at $772.31 (+0.3%), QQQ rose 0.6% to $725.61 and the small-cap IWM gained 0.4% to $281.29. Big-tech earnings then moved futures after the bell. Alphabet fell about 10% after missing profit estimates even as Google Cloud revenue more than doubled, while Microsoft rose about 3% on a beat with Azure growth of 48%. ServiceNow and Fortinet dropped 18% and 26%. SPY was near $769.27 and QQQ near $718.00 after hours.

With the Nasdaq pointing lower, Thursday’s list focuses on stocks with their own catalysts. Bausch Health and Teladoc jumped after earnings, Stellantis rallied 13% on its turnaround update, DMC Global closed at the high after a 44% earnings pop, and Prime Medicine broke out to a new 52-week high. Here are the levels we are watching.

1. Bausch Health (BHC) – Big beat and raised guidance send it to a 52-week high

Close: $6.92 (+9.7%) · Day range: $6.25–$6.97 · Volume: 8.1M (about 4x its 10-day average) · After hours: ~$7.85 (+13.4%), range $6.92–$8.52

Bausch Health reported third-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.77 per share, well above the $1.29 estimate, on revenue of $2.94 billion versus $2.76 billion expected. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance above Wall Street’s forecast and announced a $50 million buyback. Excluding Bausch + Lomb, revenue grew 12% and adjusted EBITDA topped $1 billion for the first time.

Our Take: BHC spiked to $8.52 right after the report and settled near $7.85. $8.00 (52-week high) is the first resistance, then $8.52 (after-hours high). On the downside, $7.62 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $6.97 (Wednesday’s high). The stock already gained nearly 10% before the release, so watch whether buyers defend $7.62 in pre-market.

2. Stellantis (STLA) – Turnaround update lifts it off 52-week lows

Close: $4.68 (+13.0%) · Day range: $4.54–$4.83 · Volume: 119.5M (about 3.5x its 10-day average) · After hours: ~$4.68 (0.0%), range $4.67–$4.74

Stellantis reported third-quarter revenue of €37.6 billion, up 1%, and narrowed its adjusted loss to €0.01 per share from €0.04 a year earlier. It reaffirmed its full-year outlook, and the CEO said the company expects to beat its €2.4 billion cost-savings target for 2027. Ram sales jumped 30%. The stock hit a 52-week low near $3.92 just last Friday.

Our Take: STLA held its gains after hours, which is a good sign. $4.83 (Wednesday’s high) is the first resistance, then $5.00 (round number). On the downside, $4.54 (Wednesday’s low) is the first support, then $4.37 (Oct. 20 high). With very high volume and a tight spread, STLA is one of the more liquid names on this list.

3. Teladoc Health (TDOC) – Double beat, but a soft fourth-quarter outlook

Close: $6.88 (+6.7%) · Day range: $6.40–$6.92 · Volume: 8.6M (about 2.7x its 10-day average) · After hours: ~$7.48 (+8.7%), range $6.85–$7.99

Teladoc reported third-quarter revenue of $605 million, ahead of the $588 million estimate, and a loss of $0.15 per share versus the expected $0.21 loss. Revenue still fell 3% from a year ago, with BetterHelp down 13%. The company generated $76 million in free cash flow, but its fourth-quarter revenue guidance of $569–$615 million brackets the $597 million estimate.

Our Take: TDOC touched $7.99 after hours and then settled in a tight range near $7.48. $7.60 (after-hours ceiling) is the first resistance, then $7.99 (after-hours high). On the downside, $7.35 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $6.92 (Wednesday’s high). The guidance is mixed, so a fade back toward $7.35 at the open is possible.

4. DMC Global (BOOM) – A 44% earnings pop that closed at the high

Close: $7.73 (+44.5%) · Day range: $6.62–$7.74 · Volume: 7.7M (more than 30x its 10-day average) · After hours: ~$7.91 (+2.3%), range $7.59–$7.95

DMC Global reported third-quarter sales of $172.8 million, up 14%, after Tuesday’s close. Adjusted EBITDA, excluding tariff refunds, rose 59% to $13.6 million, its Arcadia building products unit grew 25%, and NobleClad’s backlog reached $72.4 million after a record order. The company guided fourth-quarter sales of $154–$164 million, roughly in line with estimates.

Our Take: BOOM gapped up, never filled the gap and closed at the high, then added a bit more after hours. $8.00 (round number) is the first resistance, then $9.20 (52-week high). On the downside, $7.59 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $6.62 (Wednesday’s low and the top of the gap). This is a small-cap with a $159 million market value that normally trades well under 200,000 shares a day, so expect wide spreads.

5. Prime Medicine (PRME) – Two-day run to a new 52-week high

Close: $5.36 (+23.2%) · Day range: $4.11–$5.43 · Volume: 15.2M (about 3.5x its 10-day average) · After hours: ~$5.22 (−2.6%), range $5.07–$5.38

Prime Medicine, a gene-editing company, is up about 48% in two sessions, from $3.61 on Monday to $5.36. It closed just below Wednesday’s high of $5.43, a new 52-week high. We did not find a new company announcement behind the move.

Our Take: A breakout to a new high without a headline can run, but it can also fade fast. $5.43 (52-week high) is the first resistance, then $6.00 (round number). On the downside, $5.07 (after-hours low) is the first support, then $4.41 (Oct. 27 high). Watch whether it can reclaim $5.36 in pre-market.

Bottom Line

Thursday’s list is built on catalysts that don’t depend on big tech. Bausch Health, Teladoc and DMC Global have fresh earnings, Stellantis is rebounding from its lows on heavy volume, and Prime Medicine is the higher-risk momentum play. With Alphabet weighing on Nasdaq futures, names that hold their first support in pre-market are the ones to focus on.
